Sixth graders at East Middle School planted seeds last week with Nichole Anderson, Challenge Teacher at both East and West. These students enjoy spending time with Mrs. Anderson and recently expressed interest in growing plants like she does - so these students are getting into gardening themselves! 📅 REMINDER | BCSD elementary school students will early release tomorrow, Friday, January 27 at 10:50 a.m.
REMINDER: Friday 1/27 is an early release day for BCSD students. Elementary students will dismiss at 10:50 a.m., middle school students will dismiss at 11:30 a.m., and there is no school for BHS students, with the exception of those taking morning Regents exams.
The Binghamton City School District will be closed today, Wednesday, January 25, due to inclement weather. There will be no after school activities. Thank you and please stay safe.
Good afternoon, BHS families. Our region is anticipating additional inclement weather tomorrow, Wednesday 1/25, that may impact high school NYS Regents Exams. Three Regents exams are scheduled: Geometry in the morning, and Algebra I and Physics in the afternoon.
In the event that school is closed, all three Regents Exams will be moved to Thursday 1/26 at their regularly-scheduled times. In the event of a delayed opening, students taking the Geometry exam will be contacted by the high school with a delayed start time for the Geometry Regents, and the afternoon exams - Algebra I and Physics - will start at their regular time Wednesday. In the event of an early dismissal, the Geometry Regents will proceed as planned tomorrow morning, and the Algebra I and Physics Regents will be moved to Thursday afternoon, January 26.
