🎓 | Bon appetit! Gabriella Turner, today's Senior Spotlight, will undoubtedly be serving up delicious dishes in the future. Gabriella earned her certificate from BOCES where she also placed first in the annual "Food Wars" competition. She plans to continue studying culinary arts in the fall. She says in addition to spending time with her culinary classmates, performing in shows with her brother in attendance are among her favorite high school memories. 1️⃣ | Congratulations to Binghamton High School Valedictorian Samantha Dalmolen! Sam will attend Yale University in the fall to study Ethics, Politics, & Economics. She is Class president, student representative to the Board of Education, Mock Trial captain, captain of Varsity Tennis and Lacrosse, student coordinator of the BHS Thanksgiving Dinner, and a member of National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, Science Honor Society, and Tri-M Honor Society. Sam says her teachers have always been a shoulder to lean on, and their compassion has shaped the kind of person she hopes to become. She tells new BHS students to not let fear hold them back -- say hi to someone new, try a club, don’t be afraid to participate and ask questions in class. Congratulations, Sam! #BPatriotProud

Natalie is planning to attend SUNY Broome in the fall to study Human Services before transferring to a four-year school as she works toward becoming a social worker. She says she is grateful for all the caring, dedicated staff members at BHS who helped her along the way. Congratulations, Natalie! #BPatriotProud

🎓 | Congratulations to Jamel Trapp, today's Senior Spotlight! Jamel is headed to the University at Albany in the fall to study Biology. He was a swimmer at BHS and also studied Video Production at BOCES. He says one of his favorite memories from high school is attending the Homecoming game his sophomore year. 2️⃣ | The Binghamton High School Class of 2026 Salutatorian is Tatev Dadian! Tat is headed to Binghamton University on a pre-Med track in the fall. She has been a student leader at BHS, serving as president of Science Olympiad & Science Honor Society, co-president of National Honor Society, president of Mathletes & Math Honor Society, and captain of the Tennis team. She also participated in Mock Trial & Lacrosse and volunteered with the local Armenian-American community. Her advice for new students: branch out of your comfort zone, you never know what you’ll end up liking or who you’ll end up meeting. Congratulations, Tat! #BPatriotProud

3️⃣ | Graduating third in Binghamton High School's Class of 2026 is Miranda Chiguma! Miranda is headed to Harvard in the fall to study government & computer science. She kept very busy during her time at BHS: she was the founder of Advocates for Educational Equality, and was a member of Student Government, National Honor Society, Sisterz 4 Sisters, Orchestra, Band, and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Miranda also volunteered at the Prom Dress Fashion Show, Thanksgiving Community Dinner, Noah Farley Run, Binghamton High School Distinguished Graduates' Dinner, & worked on a local political campaign. She tells future BHS students to believe in themselves & their potential, no matter what. Congratulations, Miranda! #BPatriotProud

🎓 | Shoutout to Oliver Rouse, today's Senior Spotlight! Oliver plans to study Criminal Justice, Psychology, & Law as he works to become a police officer and then a lawyer. He says his favorite memories at BHS are visiting with Ms. Jackie in Mr. Clarke's office in the mornings. Congratulations, Oliver! #BPatriotProud

4️⃣ | Graduating at Number 4 in the Class of 2026 is Eva DiNunzio Welch! In addition to her tremendous success in the classroom, Eva is also a decorated athlete outside of it. She is a two-time Section IV champion in indoor track & this spring became the first girls runner in school history to win three individual track & field Sectional titles! Eva plans to run at Division I Lehigh University in the fall where she will study chemical engineering. She encourages future BHS students to get involved in as many activities at school as possible. 5️⃣ | We've reached the top 5 in our Top 25 countdown! Cassidy Eckhardt is planning to study at the University of Virginia in the fall. At BHS, she was the Class of 2026 Secretary, and participated in Math Honor Society, Mathletes, Mock Trial, National Honor Society, Science Honor Society, Science Olympiad, Tri-M Music Honor Society, and was captain of the Girls Varsity Tennis team. She adds that the people she's been surrounded by at Binghamton have pushed her to work harder and become more confident. Congratulations, Cassidy! #BPatriotProud

🖍️ | First graders from Thomas Jefferson are sending some colorful love to children in need. The students save 41 pounds of crayons; instead of going to the landfill they'll be recycled into new crayons which will be donated to children in hospitals across the country. 🎓 | The Senior Spotlight hits Noah Corey today! Noah is entering the workforce upon graduation from BHS, landing a job at BAE Systems. He participated in wrestling & volleyball at Binghamton and says a favorite memory from his time in high school is going to Sectionals in 2025. Congratulations, Noah! #BPatriotProud
