Binghamton Rotary honors fifth grade Binghamton City School District students

The Binghamton Rotary Club recently recognized seven Binghamton City School District fifth grade students as Student of the Year award recipients for the 2024–2025 school year.

Each year, the Rotary Club selects one fifth grade student from each of the district’s elementary schools who exemplifies leadership, service, and a commitment to excellence in and out of the classroom. Honorees and their families were invited to a celebratory luncheon hosted by the Rotary, where students were recognized for their achievements and presented with a certificate.

This year’s recipients are:

Brianna Keesler – Benjamin Franklin Elementary

Robert Curtis – Calvin Coolidge Elementary

Henry Button – Horace Mann Elementary

Bailey Matthews – MacArthur Elementary

Alex Finch – Thomas Jefferson Elementary

Danny Makosiy – Theodore Roosevelt Elementary

Gabriel Valentin – Woodrow Wilson Elementary

BCSD congratulates these students for this outstanding accomplishment!
