The Binghamton City School District (BCSD) hosted a reception on May 6 to honor teachers and staff who have achieved tenure, 20 years with the district, and retirement milestones. More than 80 individuals were honored and thanked for their many years of service toward helping each and every one of our students believe in themselves, know they belong, and become whatever they wish to be.
Superintendent Dr. Tonia Thompson expressed gratitude for the honorees' commitment to the district's mission of fostering a supportive and enriching educational environment. The reception featured speeches from district leaders, acknowledgments for each honoree, and refreshments served by students of the Binghamton High School Culinary Arts program. Attendees included colleagues, family members, and friends who gathered to show their appreciation.
