As we approach the end of the school year, the district is celebrating some impressive milestones for more than 75 employees who work tirelessly in helping students believe, belong, and become.
Students from the Binghamton High School Culinary Arts program provided some delicious hors d'oeuvres and refreshments for the dozens of attendees who came out to the reception. Remarks from BCSD Board of Education President Brian Whalen, BCSD Superintendent Dr. Tonia Thompson, and BCSD Director of Personnel Dawne Anna-Adams highlighted the appreciation district admin feel for the honorees’ dedication, care, and passion for serving the students and families of the district.
Of the 76 total honorees, 30 were recognized for achieving tenure, 29 for hitting 20 years in the district, and 17 who are retiring after the school year.
