On the one-year anniversary of his passing, Xavier Cooper's spirit was celebrated at Roosevelt Elementary School, where he lit up everyone's life as a student.
Xavier was an exceptional son, grandson, student, and friend to those who knew him. To honor his memory, students, staff, and Xavier's family created "X's" -- all of which were decorated by each individual and had listed on them the ways that Xavier was exceptional.
Each X will be put on a bulletin board in the school as a long-lasting way to make sure Xavier will live on for years to come at Roosevelt Elementary.
