This past weekend the West Middle and BHS debate teams headed out to the Harvard National High School Invitational Forensics Tournament in Massachusetts, which is held each Presidents' Day Weekend.
Finch Leeson-Schatz finished second place in speaker points out of 160 students, and Miranda Chiguma placed in the top 20 as well. The team of Samantha Dalmolen and Miranda Chiguna also made it to the quarterfinals of competition with seven other teams after going 5-1 in the preliminary rounds. They debated about United States security cooperation with NATO.
