Binghamton High School

😊 | Kindness continues to spread across our district! With the help of The Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund, our friend Brian visited Thomas Jefferson, Horace Mann, and MacArthur challenging each school to complete 5,000 acts of kindness over the next two weeks. Noah is a 2018 BHS graduate who tragically passed away during his freshman year of college. The memorial fund in his memory works to spread kindness & giving back throughout our community! #BPatriotProud

🫶 | Be kind. This simple message is being shared at all of our school buildings this week through assemblies sponsored by the Noah Farrelly Memorial Fund. Noah was a 2018 BHS graduate who passed away in a traffic accident during his freshman year of college. Noah will always be remembered for the kindness he showed others, and now our students are being challenged to do their part to carry on his legacy. Each school has been given the task of completing FIVE THOUSAND acts of kindness over the next two weeks - with nine school buildings, that's 45 thousand total! #BPatriotProud

👩‍🏫We're celebrating and welcoming our new teachers!

Marissa Clinton comes to us from California, graduating from Highland High School in Palmdale and Adams State University in Alamosa, Colorado. She's joining us as an English Students with Disabilities instructor at Binghamton High School!

Marissa is following in her mother's footsteps into education, cherishing those 'gotcha' moments when a student finally gets or passes a difficult assignment.

Welcome, Mrs. Clinton! #BPatriotProud

❤️🤍💙 | At yesterday's grand opening of the BHS College & Career Center, we dedicated a sign to Class of 2018 alum Noah Farrelly. Noah tragically passed away in December of 2018 while running on campus at Stony Brook University. Noah exemplified the ideals of a Binghamton Patriot; this quote in his memory will remind students who use the College & Career Center to carry those traits with them as they leave BHS and embark on their post-graduation journeys. #BPatriotProud
