The Binghamton City School District’s 2025–26 school budget was approved by district residents in a vote held on Tuesday, with 743 voters participating. The budget passed with a 72% majority. The Board of Education certified the results on Wednesday evening. Full voting results can be viewed here.
Jesula Saintus was elected to the Binghamton City School District Board of Education. Her five-year term will begin on July 1, 2025. She will join the board as it continues its work to support students, staff, and families across the district.
The district remains committed to its mission of empowering all students to believe in themselves, feel a sense of belonging in the school community, and grow into lifelong learners and compassionate individuals. The 2025–26 budget supports this vision and the continued advancement of educational goals across all schools in the district.
