The Fall 2025 sports season is just a few short weeks away and registration is now open. Student-athletes can visit the Athletics page on the Binghamton City School District’s website to sign-up for junior varsity and varsity sports; registration for modified cross country is now open but sign-ups for all other modified teams begin on Monday, August 4th.
Binghamton offers eight team sports during the fall season, including cheer, cross country, football, golf, tennis (girls), swimming & diving (girls), soccer, and volleyball. Student-athletes interested in trying out for any team must sign-up first.
To sign-up, students can visit the Binghamton Athletics website and click on “Athletics Sign Ups.” This will take users away from BCSD’s website and to Aktivate, Binghamton Athletics’ sign-up and scheduling platform. Anyone who does not already have an Aktivate account will be prompted to create one. After signing in to Aktivate, users can then sign up for the teams they’re interested in. The Binghamton Athletics web page also has a tutorial for using the Aktivate platform; users are encouraged to watch this video guide prior to logging into Aktivate and signing up for sports.
Additionally, students must complete a physical and fill out certain forms prior to participating. Forms can also be found on the Athletics web page and physical exams by a district-approved medical provider will be offered on Tuesday, August 5th from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m. at Columbus School.
