100 Book Challenge Celebration
Mark Binder shared his storytelling with students at both the primary and intermediate schools May 28 and May 29. "Cinderella, Spinderella" was a great success and students enjoyed the stories. 
MacArthur Students Celebrate the Return of Summer

Students Attend Poetry and the Children Day at BU
Approximately eighty-five students in grades 2-8 from all elementary and middle schools attended Poetry and the Children Day at Binghamton University today, May 21st, 2014. Click here to view slideshow from the event. 
Fun in the summer
The Binghamton City School District and the City of Binghamton are hosting the 2014 Summer Fun Program, FREE and open to all BCSD students currently in grades K-4 from July 7-August 15, Mon.-Fri., 8:30 a.m. - 3 p.m.

MacArthur Updates
On April 15, 2013 the residents of the Binghamton city School District overwhelmingly approved, by public referendum vote, the construction of a new facility to replace the Macarthur elementary school which was lost in the 2011 flood.

MacArthur Elementary School on Vestal Avenue was closed after the flood in Sept. 2011. Please refer to the information below for the relocation of our students to temporary facilities.

School starts at 7:50 a.m.and will be dismissed at 2:40 p.m.
