 About the Guidance Department

The Binghamton High School Guidance Department provides support and direction to all students, helping to maximize their academic achievement, individual development and potential for future success.

High school is an exciting
, yet often demanding and stressful time in a young person's life.  At BHS, our counselors advocate for students and provide them with access to school and community resources aimed at academic and personal success.  BHS counselors help students select a course of study and an educational plan geared towards the individual student's interests and goals.  For more information on the role of the guidance counselor, please refer to the document linked below.
