My name is Mrs. Harrington and I have been the librarian at Franklin for the past 11 years. I read stories, teach lessons, help students and teachers find materials, recommend books to read, and help teachers and students with audio/video/computer needs. Look for me in the library or you'll see me in any classroom helping with an exciting project.

LIBRARY HOURS
The library is open from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm every day. Most days I'm in the library until 3:30 so feel free to come in.
The library is also open most lunch hours to exchange books or to browse the shelves. Mondays the library is closed from 11:30- 12:30.

Checking In Books
Library books should be returned the day they are due. Each teacher is given a red and white book bag--put the book in the bag--then the full bag is returned to the library so that I can check the books in before the class gets here.
And Checking Out Books
Kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd graders may check out 1 book
3rd and 4th graders may check out 2 books
5th graders may check out 3 books
All overdue books must be returned in order to check out new books.
Books may be renewed, but I need to have it in hand to renew it.

New Books
We're receiving a lot of new books this year. I've added to the Babymouse series and there are new sports biographies. We're also getting many scary stories books and more graphic novels. Come in and check them out!
