MYP Classroom Music 6, 7, and 8 are integral parts of the Middle Years Program (MYP) Curriculum. Together with Visual Arts and the Performing Arts they comprise The Arts component of the MYP curriculum. Music is one of the eight interrelated MYP subjects. MYP Classroom Music is for ALL West Middle School students, including those with disabilities and learning challenges. The class meets daily for 10 weeks (about 40 classes). Activities are student-centered. Music course content is linked to other subjects and real world issues through the MYP Areas of Interaction:
