	MACARTHUR UPDATES

On April 15^,2013 the residents of the Binghamton city School District overwhelmingly approved, by public referendum vote, the construction of a new facility to replace the Macarthur elementary school which was lost in the 2011 flood.

	LIBRARY DONATIONS

We now have almost 3,000 Library books circulating at MacArthur! All of our collection is brand-new and alligned to the Common Core. Below are pictures of Mrs. Stapleton's & Ms. Bogart's classes displaying donations by the Retired MacArthur Teachers Group. They gave Mrs. Pierce a $250. Barnes & Noble gift card to purchase new books for our students. Thanks for your generosity!
