Musicians from across the district perform in annual event
On March 7, the students and staff of East Middle, Calvin Coolidge, Theodore Roosevelt, Benjamin Franklin, MacArthur and Binghamton High School participated in this year's Annual "East Side Band Concert" in the newly renovated Benjamin Franklin auditorium.
More than 100 students and staff performed for parents and community members from 7- 8 p.m. The concert featured the East Middle Stage Band, several NYSSMA student solos and a culminating 'Grand Finale" that involved all 5th-grade students accompanied by the East Middle Band.
Next year the concert will be held in the newly renovated East Middle auditorium.
