DISTRICT REPORT CARD
The New York State Department of Education provides extensive performance data and other relevant information regarding all public schools in the state. This information is accessible online through the NYS Testing and Accountability Reporting Tool (nySTART).
Reports available on nySTART include the Accountability and Overview Report, which provides data on enrollments, average class size, demographics, attendance and suspensions, teacher qualifications and accountability measures such as results for English language arts, mathematics, and science, and graduation rate. Also reported on nySTART is the Comprehensive Information Report, which provides annual results on Regents examinations, second language proficiency examinations, English as a Second Language Achievement Tests, elementary and middle-level social studies tests and Alternate Assessments, as well as cohort performance results in social studies and science. The CIR also provides information on high school completers and non-completers and on post-secondary plans of graduates.
