Conwicke-Stock Invitational |
Senior Ian Tolan scored the first invitational win of his young cross country career on Saturday, coming in first out of 110 runners in the 22 team Conwicke-Stock Invitational, hosted by Union-Endicott. Ian toured the hilly, muddy 2.9 mile Ann McGuiness School course in 16 minutes 5 seconds, good for a ten second margin of victory over Nick Miller of Maine-Endwell. The Patriot boys scored 226 points to finish seventh in a nineteen team field. Other Binghamton scorers included Jabril Robinson (39th), Graeme Gowland (40th), Pedro Arias (50th) and Josh Barber (96th). Binghamton's varsity girls were led by Alexa Boyd in sixty-third and Georgia Westbrook in seventy-first. Top JV boys was Ricky Testani in 112th. The modified boys were led by Jayson Edwards in seventieth, and pacing the mod girls was Corinne Roma in thirty-first. Both Jayson and Corinne were competing in their first cross country race. The Patriots host the 46th Annual Loyal Greenman Invitational at Ely Park Golf Course on Saturday, October 15. |
