Section IV Championships

Sophomore Abbie Bideaux (#311) earned her second straight trip to the state championships yesterday, overcoming muddy conditions to finish sixth in the Section IV Class AA Championships at Chenango Valley State Park Golf Course.  Abbie completed the sloppy 5k course in 21 minutes and 40 seconds.  Also placing well for the Patriot girls were freshmen Georgia Westbrook and Alexa Boyd, finishing sixteenth and seventeenth, respectively.  Leading Binghamton's boys as he has all season was Graeme Gowland, who capped his stellar junior campaign with a fifteenth place finish with a time of 18:06.
